Want to know how to use your existing Flex and/or Flash skills to build applications for the desktop using Adobe AIR? In this presentation we’ll look at what AIR is and is not, and we’ll look at the key features of AIR. We’ll go beyond the standard marketing presentation for AIR and instead focus on what is possible using AIR and what it takes to get up and running using AIR.

moreWe’re looking to get the Adobe Flex User Group in Philly up and running. So, if you are interested in Flex/AIR and you’d like to join the group, please sign up using the form in the sidebar to the right.
We are also actively looking for speakers. If there is a topic that you would like to give a talk on, please shoot me an email (dwischusen [at] gmail.com) or post a message on the group’s discussion list (after you’ve signed up).
Lastly, we are seeking sponsors, so if you might have any interest in sponsoring the group, please let me know. Right now sponsorship would primarily entail providing a consistent location for the group’s monthly meetings.
